Every mod that uses the library builds its menu from the same set of controls, and they look and work like the game's own options screens. This page shows where to find the menus and what each control does.

Open a menu#

Done leaves a screen. From a mod's first screen, that takes you back to where you opened the menu.

The controls#

Control Looks like How to use it
Button a vanilla button click it
On/off setting a button reading "Name: ON" or "Name: OFF" click to flip it
Check box a box with a label beside it click to check or uncheck
Choice a button reading "Name: value" click to step to the next value; after the last it starts again
List picker like a choice click to open a screen that lists every value; pick one, or press Cancel
Slider a vanilla slider reading "Name: value" drag it, click the track, or use the arrow keys while it is selected
Text field a field with its name above it type; a line below it says what's wrong, and the mod ignores the text until it is fixed
Number field a text field type a number; the line below says if it isn't a number or is out of range
Text box a field several lines tall type; Enter starts a new line, and long text scrolls
List a scrolling list of rows click a row to select it; buttons below usually act on the selected row
List editor a list, a text field, Add and Remove type a new item and press Add; select an item and press Remove
Key binding a button reading "Name: key", like the Controls screen click it, then press a key or mouse button. Escape unbinds it.
Color a button reading "Name: #RRGGBB" with a color swatch click to open a color editor (below)
Section a button reading "▶ Title" click to show the settings inside ("▼ Title"); click again to hide them

Greyed-out controls can't be used right now, usually because another setting turns them off. Hover over one: its tooltip often says why.

The color editor#

Clicking a color opens a screen with a preview, sliders for Red, Green and Blue (and Alpha, for colors that can be see-through) from 0 to 255, and a Hex field where you can type the color as #RRGGBB (or #AARRGGBB).

Confirmations#

Before something that can't be undone, such as deleting, a mod may ask on a screen of its own, like the game's "Delete world?" screen. Pick the action to go ahead, or No or Cancel to go back without changes.

"Working…"#

Some actions, such as saving files, take a moment. The screen then shows Working… and ignores clicks until the action is done. The game keeps running meanwhile.

Languages#

The library's own texts (Done, Cancel, Add, Remove…) follow the game's language. Each mod translates its own menu; a mod that doesn't have your language shows its menu in English.
