About
I'm Xichil and I make Minecraft mods, libraries, and plugins that run on as many versions and loaders as I can.
I make Minecraft mods and plugins: Fabric and NeoForge/Forge mods, libraries for other modders, and Paper/Spigot plugins.
What I care about most is compatibility. I want my projects to work on whichever Minecraft version and loader you happen to play on, not just the newest one. Settings Saver and Xi's Multiversion UI Lib, for example, run on every version from 1.7.10 all the way to 26.3, on Fabric, Quilt, Legacy Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with one jar per loader family.
My projects#
- Item Nametags: a Paper and Purpur plugin for Minecraft 1.20 to 26.3. It puts a name tag above dropped items so you can see what they are and how many there are at a glance. It's out on Modrinth.
- Settings Saver: a client mod for anyone tired of redoing their settings. Save them once and every new instance starts with them. It's in review on Modrinth right now.
- Xi's Multiversion UI Lib: a library that lets you write a mod menu once with plain Java widgets and have it run on every supported version and loader. I'm still building it.
Once Xi's Multiversion UI Lib ships, I have more projects lined up, and they'll all be built on top of it.
Every project has a wiki that explains how to use it. The ones with a public API also have developer docs.
